Hello, my name is Mandi, I’m 30 years old and I have dealt with anxiety all my life.

I feel like everyone talks about me and is out to get me. I feel so embarrassed because when I go out I stay cornered up. When I do that I feel like no one can see me and I am safe.

When I am around other people I stay quiet and I avoid everyone. I feel like I am stupid and I am scared that I may say or do something stupid or dumb.

All the time I wish I was normal, I wish I was more confident and I wish I was able to do normal things without overthinking each and every step I make.

It’s part of life so now I have to make the best of it and deal with it. Every morning I motivate myself with my kids. They are what keeps me going every day and they are the reason I look forward to the next day.

When I was younger my parents put me on medication, but when I became older, I pretty much outgrew it and the doctors took me off it.

When the anxiety returned, it came back worse than ever before. The battle continues every day, but I try to make the best of it.
